G'Day Blokes and Sheilas!
I have just had the best week! I have a great quirky web site to share with you, along with a media review, quote and joke.
However first lets get this editorial like business out of the way.
I went on the most wonderful four day kayaking adventure this past weekend. Four days and three nights around the San Juan Islands up here in Washington State in the Puget Sound. I won't bore everyone with the details but if you are interested take a look at my blog entry. Next week I hope to review a automated online photo album that I am currently trying to get installed, so there should be photos to see soon.
For those of you who follow Australian Rules Football you must be happy like I was to see Essendon win their elimination final against Fremantle. Now if your not an Aussie and that is all greek to you check out Fox World Sports on digital cable for a match, or go to the AFL web site.
Finally thank you to everyone who showed their support of my endeavors to get this newsletter up and running again. It was so great to get your feedback and see that you like getting it in your inbox. If you do not mind I would love it if you spread the word and told your friends about the site and newsletter. If you do mind I understand completely! Either way here is the page that makes it easy for you to recommend my site to people.
So have a great week and I hope you enjoy this issue!

This was a movie I saw in the cinemas, then my friend Eric had a copy so I wanted to see what the extras were like on the DVD.
Firstly as far as the movie goes if you like Will Ferell and crude jokes you will like this movie. Actually it is worth seeing just for the streaking scene that features Will.
As for the extras on the DVD, there are some great deleted scenes, an Actor's Studio spoof with all the main actors and the director and some funny bloopers and outtakes. A nice set of extras that kept the laughs rolling for a little longer.
To sum up I think this is a great movie to sit down with a pizza and beer/wine and just have a good laugh!

If the wind will not serve, take to the oars.
I happened upon the GeoURL site last night when I was looking at sites that linked to my own. I was so intrigued that I made the changes to my site so I could be listed too!
So what is this all about? Basically you enter some extra meta tag information on your own site (which the GeoURL site will help you generate), and then ping your site from the GeoURL site which adds you to their database. Basically you have just added your geographical location to a database.
Then you add a little code to your site which when clicked will show visitors other sites that are geographically close to your own. More correctly it is where the owners of the sites are located, as I am sure most people do not put where their site is hosted.
So this is a quick and easy little tweak to add to your site that 'puts you on the map' so to speak!
Check it out!
Question: How does a man show he's planning for the future?
Answer: He buys two cases of beer instead of one.
